Comienza la primera ola de calor del verano 2013

Tal y como se ha venido señalando en los medios de comunicación durante estos últimos días, la llegada de la primera ola de calor del verano 2013 ya está siendo confirmada por todos los modelos de predicción, que a día de hoy es prácticamente inminente para las próximas jornadas. Antes de nada hay que dejar claro que no hay de qué asustarse, ya que son los calores típicos del verano en España, y que lo más destacable no serán las máximas en sí (que serán muy altas), sino la duración de este nuevo episodio de calor, de al menos 6-7 días.

 

Todo comenzará con un ascenso progresivo de temperaturas a partir de este miércoles por el centro, sur y, especialmente, por el oeste de la Península, que nos conducirá a una situación de intenso calor en gran parte del país.

Será más importante cuanto más al sur y oeste nos encontremos, por donde las máximas se acercarán a los 40ºC durante estos primeros días de esta advección de aire cálido africano, y pasaremos de los 40-42ºC hacia el fin de semana.
